AnMed Health performs more than 300 knee and hip replacements each year. Our
orthopaedic team consists of trained professionals dedicated to returning
patients to their normal lifestyles as soon as possible. Specialists in both
orthopaedic and surgical nursing, physical and occupational therapy, discharge
planning, pharmacy, nutrition and respiratory therapy are some of the staff that
may work with physicians to provide you with the appropriate care and treatment.

AnMed Health ranks among the top 10 percent of hospitals for hip and knee
replacement in the CMS/Premier Hospital Quality Incentive Demonstration Project.
This is one of several quality projects AnMed Health voluntarily participates in
to ensure that we are following best practices for orthopaedic patients. We also
work with the Leap Frog Group, Hospital Compare, and the Institute of Health Improvement's
Surgical Care Improvement Project.
